Laura Perez Shaw, a suicidal woman, fired gunshots during a domestic incident in Torrington, CT on Friday, prompting some city schools to go into lockdown.

Police are searching for the woman, who is 49. Her ex-husband, who shares a house with her, told police that Shaw fired shots into a wall of the home. He was having a conversation with her when she became “excited and depressed,” he told police.

She threatened to hurt herself before running away from the home.

No one has been reported injured as of yet, police told the Hartford Courant.

There’s no indication that Shaw was heading toward any school, police told NBC.
