The Our Lady of Lourdes School, a Catholic institution, was placed on lockdown in Toronto.
The school was locked down due to a police standoff on Sherbourne Street, reported CP24.
The network reported that the suspect in the standoff ran behind a building near Carlton Street after police were chasing him on foot.
It added that Sherbourne has been cordoned off between Wellesley and Carlton streets.
The suspect reported has a gun.
