TORONTO—Renovating or redecorating? Then don’t miss the Toronto Fall Home Show where over 250 exhibitors will showcase the very latest trends in décor and renovating.

Starting on Oct. 1 at the Better Living Centre Exhibition Place, the Fall Home Show will offer expert advice for redoing your home from top to bottom as well as tips on green living and how to save money.

Although past years have been more focused on trends, visitors to this year’s show can expect a little bit of everything. Whether it’s reinventing the look of your home, tips on money management, or how to spice up your holiday cocktails, the Home Show has it all under one roof.

With the holiday season just around the corner, experts will provide seasonal decorating tips as well as exciting recipes. Be sure not to miss the Modern Living Lounge exhibit where entertainment experts and chefs will share their knowledge as well as wine and spirit samples.

A hands-on workshop series from HGTV entitled ‘Time to Update Your Look?’ for those wishing to revamp their home décor is a highlight of the show this year. The workshop will give pointers on thrifty ways to redecorate during the recession.

For specific décor questions, experts such as Janette Ewan and Sharon Grech, both regulars on Citytv’s CityLine, will be fielding design questions on October 3rd and 4th.

Expected to draw large crowds are exhibitors who give tips on green living and saving money. Financial expert Linda Leatherdale, among others, will provide suggestions on how to stretch your dollar further.

In addition, Bryan Baeumler, the host of the HGTV hit series Disaster DIY, will give a green building presentation including advice on how to find sustainable materials.

About 30,000 visitors are expected to attend the home show, which runs from October 1-4. For a full list of presenters, seminar schedules, and contests, visit www.fallhomeshow.com .

Tickets at the door are $13 for adults and $11 for seniors and youth aged 13-17. Admission is free for children under 12 and you can save $3 by purchasing your tickets online.
