A tornado warning was issued for parts of northeastern Colorado on Saturday afternoon in Morgan County, said weather officials. A tornado was confirmed north of Gary and near Fort Morgan.
The National Weather Service said that Fort Morgan and Log Lane Village are impacted.
The tornado was spotted 3 miles southwest of Fort Morgan and four miles north of Gary at 2:10 p.m.
The tornado warning remains in effect until 2:30 p.m. MDT.
A storm moving overhead is also producing “ping-pong size hail.”
A thunderstorm warning for Larimer and Weld County was also issued.
