A tornado was reported over central Roosevelt County in Montana on Monday afternoon, it was reported.
The tornado was spotted 21 miles north of Poplar and was moving east at 15 miles per hour, according to Johnny Kelly, a weather tracker with Examiner.com.
Kelly reported that law enforcement officials said there was a tornado on the ground 14 miles southwest of Berdette around 21 minutes before that.
On Twitter, KFYRTV reporter Kevin Lawrence posted a photo of “twin tornadoes” in what appears to be Roosevelt County.
The National Weather Service issued a tornado watch for much of eastern Montana and western North Dakota.
The tornado watch remains active until around 11 p.m. Monday night.
