Toddler Seriously Injured by Dog in Michigan: Reports

A Michigan toddler was hurt after a dog attacked him early on Saturday morning, according to reports.

The attack took place at 3:30 a.m. in Kalamazoo, WOOD-TV reported. The 2-year-old boy left alone when the incident took place.

The child sustained life-threatening injuries in the attack.

The boy was taken to Bronson Methodist Hospital after the attack, and he was later transported to a children’s hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan

WHTC reported that the boy is undergoing additional surgeries.
The dog was taken into quarantine by animal control officials, Fox17 reported.

Reports say the child was dropped off at the home to be watched by a friend of the family. The child was left alone with the dog for a moment, the report said.
