Tito Ortiz, a MMA fighter, was arrested on early Monday morning in west Los Angeles, over suspicion that he was driving while intoxicated, police said.

THe California Highway Patrol said that Ortiz was arrested around 3:50 a.m. PDT, after a single car crash near Sepulveda Boulevard and Santa Monica Boulevard.

Ortiz was driving northbound on the I-405 when he lost control of his vehicle and struck the concrete center median,” the patrol said in a statement.

Ortiz, whose full name is Jacob Christopher Ortiz, had two passengers in the vehicle.

He’s a former light-heavyweight champion in UFC.
