The possibility of an open beta for Titanfall after the announcement of a closed beta is encouraging to players and fans.
The game is slated for a March 11 release date for Xbox One, Xbox 260, and PC.
Respawn Entertainment started a closed alpha test for a limited number of Xbox One owners this past weekend.
A fan ventured onto Twitter to ask Abbie Heppe, a community manager for Respawn, whether there will be an open beta.
“It’s possible,” she said.
While images and other information is being leaked by some of the closed test players, the textures have been reduced to 25 percent of what the resolution will actually be like, Respawn developer Rayme Vinson said via Twitter.
