It’s finally this time of the year again.

Times Square has been the center of the world’s New Year’s Eve celebration for 106 years, since the owners of One Times Square hosted rooftop celebration in 1904.

This year, the revelers will enjoy an evening of entertainment from 6 p.m. to midnight with artists including the Backstreet Boys & New Kids On The Block, Ke$ha, and Elvis Crespo.

“I swear sometimes I am just living the dream!” emvLove, who is at Times Square, posted on the Times Square Alliance’s live feeds.

At 11:59 p.m. the iconic lighted ball will descend 70 feet in 60 seconds along with a 60-second countdown.

The 11,875-pound ball, 12 feet in diameter, is covered with 2,688 Waterford crystal triangles and lit by 32,256 Philips Luxeon Rebel LEDs, making it the largest crystal ball in the world, according to Times Square Alliance, the organizer of the night’s festivities.

A confetti release and pyrotechnic effects will follow the midnight ball drop.

By 6:15 p.m., 6,300 viewers are watching the celebration live on Times Square Alliance’s website.
