Time Warner Cable apparently is having a massive outage on Saturday, according to reports and accounts posted on social media sites like Twitter.
WCSH-6 in Maine reported that the company confirmed the outage.
“We are currently experiencing an issue with high speed internet service. This may cause certain web pages to not load,” a spokesman said.
Time Warner engineers are working to restore service, the spokesperson added.
The company did not estimate when the cable will be restored.
“NYC customers, we are aware of data issues and are currently investigating the matter. Updates will be provided as soon as possible,” reads a tweet from the company earlier.
It added: “North East customers, our Network Operations Center is working to restore data services as quickly as possible.”
On Twitter, users were perplexed and expressed confusion.
Time Warner Internet is humorously bad.
