The New England Patriots cut quarterback Tim Tebow, according to reports on Saturday.
This came after Tebow posted mostly dismal numbers during the four preseason games. However, he tossed two touchdowns in the final one.
Adam Schefter with ESPN broke the story on Twitter. “Patriots releases [sic] Tim Tebow,” he wrote.
Ryan Mallett will remain as the backup behind Tom Brady, said ESPN.
