Tim McCarver, the MLB announcer, slammed Alex Rodriguez during the New York Yankees-Boston Red Sox game on Saturday.

“The boos may start in the dugout that [Rodriguez ] is returning to,” McCarver said.

McCarver also found it “mind-boggling” Rodriguez is still playing.

In previous remarks, McCarver,a former catcher, told AP that he regards Rodriguez “unfortunately, the way I view Ryan Braun, and that’s not good. And I viewed A-Rod as a really good guy. Tarnished is understated in these times.”

On Twitter, McCarver was eviscerated over most of his commentary during the game.
