Tiger Woods, the former No. 1 golfer, pleaded guilty to reckless driving and has agreed to enter a program to settle a charge of driving under the influence.
Woods, 41, entered the plea in a Palm Beach County, Florida, courtroom, The Associated Press reported. Woods will spend a year on probation and pay a $250 fine and court costs.
Woods also has to attend DUI service, attend a workshop where victims of impaired drivers detail how their lives were impacted, and perform 20 hours of community service. Those requirements have already been met by Woods, a judge said.
Woods will also have to undergo drug testing.
The former superstar golfer was arrested May 29 after officers found him unconscious in his Mercedes-Benz, which was parked in an odd manner on a roadside. The car had damage on the driver’s side.
His mugshot was plastered all over media reports and social media after he was arrested.
Woods, according to a toxicology report, had prescription drugs and marijuana in his system.
Five drugs—Vicodin, Dilaudid, Xanax, Ambien, and marijuana—were found, according to the New York Post.
Woods has won 14 major golf tournaments in his career.
