New York’s breweries are getting ready for the annual Craft New York Beer Fest. New York State Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced that tickets for the festival go on sale this Thursday, Feb. 27.

“The Craft New York Beer Fest will be another great opportunity to showcase the many world-class beverages being brewed right here in New York State,” Cuomo said, according to a release.

The one-night festival will feature 30 breweries from across the state. Taste NY, the state’s food tourism campaign promoting local agriculture and farm-based foods, is a co-sponsor of the event.

“Taste NY will be a fitting partner in this endeavor as we will pair great New York craft beers with some of the best foods in the Capital Region,” said Executive Director of the New York State Brewers Association, Paul Leone.

Beer Fest takes place on Saturday, Mar. 22, 2014 at the Desmond Hotel and Conference Center in Albany, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.newyorkcraftbeerfest.com. A limited number of printed tickets will also be available at the Albany Pump Station, Brown’s Brewing Co., and at the Olde Saratoga Brewing Company.
