Tia Mowry, who rose to fame in the 1990s for her teen role as Tia Landry on ABC sitcom Sister, Sister with her identical twin sister Tamera Mowry, is pregnant with her first child with husband Cory Hardrict.

Mowry’s representative confirmed with Us Weekly that the baby is due on July 3.

“We are both so excited to be parents,” the couple told the magazine in a statement. “We have been wanting this a long time!”

Mowry, 32, has been married to actor Hardrict, 31, since 2008. The couple had been in a relationship for 10 years before their engagement on Christmas Day 2007.

Mowry stars in comedy-drama series The Game as medical student Melanie Barnett Davis. The show’s fourth season premiered on BET on Tuesday, Jan. 11. The first three seasons aired on The CW from 2006 to 2009.

Style Network will document the pregnancy for a show that will air late 2011, according to People magazine.
