Africa has always captivated me with it’s natural, BOLD beauty. Every aspect draws me in! From the BRIGHT colors and BOLD patterns, to the WILD beauty and UNTAMED natural elements! When using African culture as your inspiration, you have a large realm of options for decorating!
I love the basket this woman has. It serves a function, but is also a great element to use in African design! By using baskets, you are bringing in a must-have natural element to your design! The fabrics are BOLD and COLORFUL and FULL of ENERGY! When thinking of adding prints to your space using Africa as your inspiration, the BOLDER the better! Mix and match to give a fun energy to the space! As with these buildings, BRIGHT colors are a fun element in designing a space with African inspiration. 
When looking for inspiration, decide which direction you would like to take. Answer these simple questions. Do you want to be dramatic with your decor? Or are you looking for a more understated nod to your design inspiration? Neither answer is right or wrong.
