Three people including the suspect were killed Tuesday evening at San Jose State University during a shooting at San Fernando and 10th streets. San Jose Mercury News said that authorities were notified at 8:36 p.m.
The incident occurred in a campus parking garage, university spokeswoman Pat Lopes Harris said on Wednesday, according to CNN. The university police were alerted to a shooting on the fifth floor. Two people were dead on the scene, and the third was rushed to a hospital, but then died.
Harris said it is unclear if the three were students. Thus far, no identities have been released, pending autopsy results.

CNN also records Harris as stating that the police do not believe that it was a drive-by nor robbery-motivated shooting. She said, “Officers realized upon arrival that this was an isolated incident.”
