Those Who Kill will premiere soon on A&E, with a slated release date of March 3 (10 p.m. ET).
The crime drama is based on a Danish television series and the cast is led by Chloe Sevigny (Catherine Jensen), James Morrison (Frank Bisgaard), and James D'Arcy (Thomas Schaeffer).
In the premiere episode, Jensen tracks down a serial killer while coming to terms with her past.
In the series, Jensen enlists the help of Schaeffer, a forensic psychologist, to help her get into the minds of serial killers--“while luring Schaeffer into her own personal investigation,” according to the official description. That would be an investigation into the disappearance of her brother.
“[Schaeffer] too finds himself deeply connected to each case, but often through the killer, which proves to be a hazardous undertaking,” A&E says. “The pair shares a skewed sense of judgment that often puts them, and sometimes even their families, at risk.As these two captivating yet flawed characters come together, their bond often rescues them from their individual demons but may be the source of more harmful tribulations.”
“Those Who Kill is not a crime procedural about serial killers -- it’s a deep serialized character portrait of two compelling yet damaged individuals coming together through the revelation of their dark past,” said A&E Network and BIO Channel president and general manager Bob DeBitetto in a statement.
The series was filmed in Pittsburgh.
The first season has 10 episodes.
The first episode is already available on the A&E website.
