The Epoch Times published the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party on November 11, 2004. Since then, the book has spread far and wide; and awakened more and more Chinese people so as to help them resign from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), the Communist Youth League (CYL) and the Communist Young Pioneers (CYP)—three withdrawals. To date, more than 29 million people have withdrawn from the CCP and its affiliated organizations at the Epoch Times Tuidang Web site.
For more than two years, volunteers at the Service Center for Quitting the Chinese Communist Party (SCQCCP) in Flushing, New York continue to spread the truth about Falun Gong and help Chinese people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Most of these volunteers are elderly people who are more than 60 years old. They keep a low profile but have made their best efforts day after day to help Chinese people to understand the truth about Falun Gong and to declare their three withdrawals, thus ensuring the safety of these Chinese people.
They have stories to share on a daily basis. The following is the personal experience of one of the volunteers, Mr. Zhang:
From September 25 to 28, 2007, during the 62nd Session of United Nations General Assembly, the Falun Dafa Association and the SCQCCP held a rally in front of the U.N. headquarters. They called for an end to the CCP’s vicious persecution of Falun Gong. They also called for support for lawyer Gao Zhisheng and congratulated the 26 million brave people who had broken away from the Party. During the event, the volunteers for the SCQCCP introduced the Nine Commentaries to VIPs and visitors from different countries.
On September 27, 2007, a middle-aged Chinese man came and took pictures of the Falun Gong practice site and truth-clarification materials. Mr. Zhang said hello to him and asked him if he had already read the Nine Commentaries. He replied that he had. Upon speaking with him, Mr. Zhang came to understand that he was the chief financial officer of a foreign company in Beijing, and that he was on vacation in the United States.
He said that he was quite familiar with several minister-level cadres. Even those corrupt Party officials believe that the regime’s days are numbered. However, he didn’t know why Falun Gong practitioners spread the truth and why Falun Gong has appeared in today’s society.
Having suffered persecution in China, Mr. Zhang used his first-hand experience to explain to the visitor the details of the evil CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong. Then Mr. Zhang told the visitor about the prediction in the Buddhist Scriptures on Udumbara flower 1 . Mr. Zhang also told him that the CCP will fall soon because this is the same statement made by many prophesies. The visitor finally understood that Falun Gong is a righteous way of cultivation. The atheism in the visitor’s mind seemed to have disappeared in that moment, and he appeared to be very happy. So Mr. Zhang suggested that he quit the CCP.
“Since you already know how evil the CCP is and have separated yourself from it, why don’t you state the three withdrawals clearly? If you are concerned about the possibility of danger upon returning to China, you can use a pseudonym to do so,” said Mr. Zhang. However, the visitor replied, “I now use my real name to withdraw from the CCP! This visit to the United Sates was worthwhile, and I haven’t come for nothing!”
Note: [1] Udumbara is the name of the imaginary flower in Buddhism. According to the Buddhist scriptures, the Udumbara only blossoms every 3,000 years when the King of Falun comes to the human world, and is believed by Buddhists to be a sign of an overwhelming blessing and good fortune.
