Apparently, some people like to keep lynxes as pets, which seems like a bad idea. The above video shows why.
A male Eurasian lynx can weigh between 40 and 66 pounds and can stand 28 inches tall. Meanwhile, other lynxes are much smaller (between 18 and 31 pounds), but are still relatively big for a house pet. Last year, an Atlanta woman who was tasked with feeding a pet Siberian lynx while the owner was away got bitten by the animal and required hospitalization.
