After two years of pandemic hiatus, more in-person events are returning to Orange County. The Epoch Times has curated a roundup of fun events happening in the OC area this weekend.

Modern Makers Mart—Irvine Woodbury Town Center

Modern Makers Mart is an outdoor marketplace featuring locally handmade crafted goods. There will be live music and handmade artisans selling house plants, candles, jewelry, macrame, charcuterie boxes, and chocolates. A free craft station will also be available for children. Woodbury Town Center in Irvine, Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. More information.

S.T.E.A.M. FEST—OC Fair & Event Center

This annual event features science experiments, art demos, and craft workshops for all ages. Students will learn to apply math and science skills to practical use and find new hobbies. Preschoolers through high schoolers are encouraged to join individual competitions. OC Fair and Event Center. Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free. Parking $10. More information.

Sakura Festival—Anaheim GardenWalk

This festival, to celebrate the coming of spring, features arts and craft, games, live performances, and dozens of vendors presenting anime and handcrafts. Saturday and Sunday, 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Free. To RSVP.

26th Annual Orange Plaza Car Show—Old Towne Orange Plaza Square

Nearly 400 pre-1976 Street Rods and custom and classic vehicles will be featured. Approximately 9,000 spectators are expected to attend. Those with pre-1976 vehicles are encouraged to register as a standby for the show, which is sold out. Free for spectators. Free parking. Old Towne Orange Plaza Square, Sunday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Kids Fun Day & Easter Egg Hunt at The OC Street Market

As Easter approaches, this 2nd annual Easter Egg Hunt returns with over 30 vendors, live music, raffles, and children’s activities including an Easter egg hunt, photos with the Easter Bunny, and face painting. Picnic areas are available. Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free event and parking. To RSVP.
