Three thieves in Las Vegas took a camera that had been recording them.
However, the footage was uploaded to remote systems, meaning that the camera already did its job before the thieves stole it.
Police say the suspects ransacked the home last month, according to KFOR-TV.
During the ransacking, a man sees the camera and grabs it from the shelf.
