The Walking Dead season 5 is being closely watched in terms of filming and spoilers, and Emily Kinney may have just let one drop.

Kinney was interviewed by a blog in Florida about the upcoming season, which premieres on October 12.

She was asked what about season 5 is she most excited about.

“I think just that first…just seeing how the group is going to get out of the situation they’re in is gonna be really exciting and really crazy and and a roller-coaster and I think just right out of the gate that first episode is gonna be really fun,” she said.

It’s nothing definitive but could hint at her being in the premiere.

Beth did confirm what Scott Gimple and Robert Kirkman have said previously, that Beth’s fate will be uncovered sometime in season 5.

There have been reports recently that Beth and Daryl were on set together, but those remain unconfirmed.

Many believe that Beth was taken by a pastor, known as Father Gabriel in the comic books. The vehicle that appeared to speed off with her had a cross on the back. A number of vehicles with a similar sign have been spotted on the season 5 sets.

If Kinney and Norman Reedus were on set together, then it either means Beth ends up in Terminus somehow, or they meet outside Terminus–but that would require Daryl escaping.

Meanwhile, Kirkman, the series creator, told Entertainment Weekly more about the premiere.

“In our first episode, it’s very much going to focus on the story of Terminus. There’s a lot of big revelations that haven’t really come out that I think people are gonna be pretty startled by. There’s a couple other revelations that I think people might’ve gotten a little bit of a lead on,” he said.

“We'll definitely be defining those in some cool ways and confirming some theories and shooting down others, which is very exciting. But I think the coolest thing about coming back to season 5 is that we really hit the ground running. What I mean by that is that we very quickly deal with the situation that we left them in — this trapped, victim situation where they’re kind of at the mercy of the people of Terminus.

“We really kind of expand the story from there very rapidly, so I think this is going to be a pretty fast-paced season with quite a bit going on. News is already out that Seth Gilliam has been added, and we’re bringing in new characters like we always do, and I think season 5 is going to be our best season yet. I think when people finally see the premiere, they'll see what I’m talking about.”
