The Walking Dead season 5 premiere date still hasn’t been nailed down--it’s known to be in October--but a possible date has been posted on Google.

In the search results for The Walking Dead, Google has listed the premiere date for season 5 on October 12.

Episode 2 is listed as October 19.

The October 12 would fall in with the other season premiere dates, which have been October 31, October 16, October 14, and October 13.

As you can see, the dates have been trending toward the early-middle of the month.

An official premiere date--was not revealed at the end of the Talking Dead episode on July 6.

A number of insights into the next season were revealed during the episode, including details about new villain Gareth.

Andrew J. West, who plays Gareth, said that Gareth is more like Rick than the Governor. “

“Mirror image of Rick or even Glenn if he had a different history,” he said.

“He’s not a one-dimensional character. You’re going to get another perspective on what the world is now.”

Alanna Masterson (Tara) also said that it’s going to get intense with the big group all in the same boxcar.

“If you put a bunch of psychopaths in one car, inevitably something terrible is going to happen,” she said.

“I don’t think how crazy each one of us is, so when we go off it’s going to be like an atomic bomb.”

Added Lauren Cohan (Maggie): “The group has to be so resourceful and so brutal to get out.”
