The British pop band Spice Girls is ready to reunite soon, singer Melanie “Scary Spice” Brown confirmed on Monday, July 23.

According to Reuters, Mel B revealed during a recent British television talk show that the five band members all agreed on the reunion.

However, Brown added that there was one member who was difficult to get on board. In a conversation with The Sun in March, she mentioned that “Posh Spice,” a.k.a. Victoria Beckham, didn’t want to take time off from her fashion career, according to news.com.au.

The other three members are Melanie Chisholm as “Sporty Spice,” Emma Bunton as “Baby Spice,” and Geri Horner (formerly Geri Halliwell) as “Ginger Spice.”

The Spice Girls’ hit songs, including “Wannabe” and “Say You'll Be There,” were once featured at the top of charts across the globe, after the group’s establishment in 1994.

The pop band split up after Halliwell walked out in 1998, and the remaining members soon went their own separate ways.

The Spice Girls were once reunited for a tour in 2000, and since then they’ve been hinting at another reunion in 2018.
