The stars from the blockbuster movie The Social Network will broadcast a live question and answer session on Sunday, Sept. 26.

The live webcast will commence at 5:30 p.m. EST; 2:30 p.m. PST, featuring several stars from the movie—Jesse Eisenberg, Justin Timberlake, Andrew Garfield and Armie Hammer.

Producer Aaron Sorkin will also be at the webcast, according to the Sonypictures website.

The Social Network retraces the incredible true story of Facebook’s creation at Harvard university, when a couple of bright students unleashed the world’s biggest social trend to date.

In 2003 computer wizard Mark Zuckerberg, played by Eisenberg, co-designed a website that could revolutionise communication via the internet, eventually becoming a millionaire.

Yet Zuckerberg suffered a series of related disasters including legal wrangles with ousted co-founder Eduardo Saverin (Garfield). Timberlake stars as Napster co-founder Sean Parker.

The plot is based on Ben Mezrich’s book The Accidental Billionaires.

The Social Network opens in US cinemas in October.
