The director of the “Social Network,” the story of Mark Zuckerberg and the founding of Facebook, David Fincher, is getting ready to make another movie about another entrepreneur for Sony - Steve Jobs. Fincher’s last film was “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.”

The film is currently nameless, but it is known that it will be based on Walter Isaacson’s best-selling biography of Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple (just rated as the “Most Admired Company” for the seventh year in a row by Fortune). The book was written by Isaacson while he had close access to Steve Jobs before he died.

In 2011, there was a movie released called “Jobs” which starred Ashton Kutcher. The movie was not unsuccessful, but it was not a huge hit like Fincher’s movie is anticipated to be.

Fincher will be working with writer Aaron Sorkin and producers Scott Rudin, Mark Gordon, and Guymon Casady. Scott Rudin and Aaron Sorkin also worked on “Social Network” with Fincher. The other co-founder of Apple, Steve Wozniak, is acting as a consultant for the movie.

Sorkin began writing the script in 2012, just after Sony decided to take on the project in 2011 after Jobs was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Currently, there is no actor in mind for the movie, but rest assured, many A-list actors will be interested in the chance to play Steve Jobs in this highly anticipated, high profile movie.
