With the second season finale of “The Neighbors” premiering on April 11, 2014 at 8:30 p.m. on ABC, fans are holding their breath to find out if there will be a season 3.

ABC has not announced a renewal of “The Neighbors” and it seems unlikely that they will.

The show’s first season came out in 2012, and while it ranks with a 6.7 on IMDb, it’s number 20 on the most watched scripted shows on the channel according to demographics, reported TV series finale.

The list, published on April 11, 2014 showed that “The Neighbors” attracted some 4.09 million viewers with a 0.96 reach of the 18 to 49 years-old demographic.

This number is said to be the most important indicator for ad placement and when compared to ABC’s #1 scripted show “Modern Family” which has a 3.62 indicator, the number is quiet low.

“Modern Family” also had over 10 million viewers. The channel’s most watched show is Resurrection with 10.22 million viewers.

At number 19 the show “Wonderland” has already been cancelled and “Mind Games” which came in at 22, was also cancelled.

Nevertheless “The Neighbors” has garnered a following. With more than 83.6 thousand likes on Facebook and 13 thousand followers on Twitter.

In the Season 2 Finale, which is the 22nd episode, audience will see Larry leave Earth and another character wanting to join him, while “Full House” stars Candace Cameron and Scott Weinger will reunite and visit the alien neighborhood.
