The LOX released a new singe, “Summer Too Hot,” triggering speculation that Yonkers, N.Y., rappers Jadakiss, Styles P, and Sheek Louch might get back together after spending years apart.

The Boombox, which posted the single on its website, said that The LOX have been making reference to getting back together and touring for several years.

Jadakiss gave an interview in June, saying that The LOX “might get an offer from MMG” records. He spoke to XXL about his fourth solo album, “Top 5 Dead Or Alive.”

“I’m signed to Def Jam though for three or four more albums. But definitely that was one of the places that were inquirying about the new LOX album. You'll hear about a couple more. The LOX album is definitely coming,” he told the magazine.

But he also said he doesn’t like hearing about The LOX break-up and reunion rumors.

“We got this L-O-X tatted on us and this is for life. I hate when people say a reunion album ‘cause we never had a fallout, we never had no social media arguments, you’ve never seen it in no magazines or none of that. We brothers for life. Only jail or death can separate us,” he told SOHH.com.

Earlier this year, Jadakiss said that a new LOX album might feature Swizz Beatz and DJ Khaled productions.

The last album the group put out was “We Are The Streets” in 2000.
