The High Line park was visited by Dr. Craig Spencer less than 24 hours before he was hospitalized on suspicion of having Ebola.

Tests later confirmed that he does have the virus.

Spencer visited the High Line on Wednesday sometime in the late morning or early afternoon, Dr. Mary Travis Bassett of the city’s health department said late Thursday in a press conference.

Officials added in an update on Friday that Spencer also visited The Meatball Shop, a restaurant near The High Line. And he visited a yet-undisclosed coffee shop as well.

The High Line, on the West Side of Manhattan, is an elevated park built on what was previously a railroad. It runs from West 34th Street to Gansevoort Street, between 10th and 12th Avenues.

Spencer took the 1 train from his home in West Harlem to The High Line.
