Actress Raven-Symoné, 26, best remembered as the precocious tot Olivia in the comedy series The Cosby Show and for her singing and dancing abilities in the hit Disney Channel programs That’s So Raven and The Cheetah Girls, will take over the lead role in Broadway’s production of Sister Act. Symoné takes over on March 27 for Patina Miller, who earned Tony and Olivier Award nominations for originating the role of street-wise nightclub singer Deloris Van Cartier on stage.

Oscar winning actress Charlize Theron,36, has recently adopted a baby boy named Jackson. The child is believed to have been born in the U.S. and is of African-American descent. In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Theron said that the experience of being a parent is “overwhelmingly incredible” and that every day there is always something new. As for her professional career, the excited new mom’s upcoming film projects Snow White and the Huntsman and the sci-fi thriller Prometheus will be released in theaters in June 2012.
