Nick Cannon Shares Realizations After Health Scare
Nick Cannon was forced to rethink what is most important to him, the comedian and husband of Mariah Carey shared with MTV News after his recent health scare.
Cannon was treated for kidney failure while on vacation in Aspen, Colo. “Right now my kids are everything—they’re always going to be everything, but when something like this happens to you, everything else is shut out and you’re just focused on them,” he told MTV.
Wife Mariah Carey kept her Twitter followers updated on her family’s ordeal, most recently tweeting, “Daddy Nick is getting better, we’re all home together taking care of each other, excited about the new year!!”
Betty White Celebrates 90th Birthday
Legendary actress Betty White celebrates her 90th birthday this week. LL Cool J to Host the Grammys
Veteran rapper and actor LL Cool J has accepted the role of host for the 54th Annual Grammy Awards. The awards ceremony hasn’t featured an official host in seven years.
The two-time Grammy winner said in a statement, “I will always have fond memories of my first Grammy Awards and to now be hosting the Grammy show, in the company of so many other incredible artists, is a dream come true. Great performances and great music—it’s gonna be a great night!”
This year’s Grammy Awards will be handed out on Sunday, Feb. 12, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
