The Following season 2 wraps up with episode 6, or the season finale, on February 24.
The Fox series may or may not be renewed for a season 3.
Fox released an official synopsis of the episode: “Looking for back-up and hoping to execute their plan, Ryan and Max contact the FBI. But Weston has other ideas, leading to a standoff between good and evil. Meanwhile, Joe’s new relationship escalates into uncharted territory, and Luke finds himself in a troubling situation.”
“Fly Away” begins at 9 p.m. ET.
Afterward it will be available for broadcast on Fox.com or on instant video services.
Entertainment Weekly elaborates on the episode, saying Weston goes rogue with Ryan and Max when they find out Joe has a man on the inside helping him.
The trio “joins forces in this sort of rogue unit that’s really acting under no authority at all,” Kevin Bacon said. “”In the interest of trying to find Joe Carroll, we take the law into our own hands.”
They use Luke to try to lead them to Joe and Lily.
Ryan kidnaps Lily’s son, telling her that she’ll give him back if she gives up Joe.
