Ezra Miller, who is known for starring Barry Allen in the upcoming DC movie “The Flash,” was arrested in Hawaii for a second time this year, authorities say.
“Police determined that the individual, later identified as Ezra Miller, became irate after being asked to leave and reportedly threw a chair, striking a 26-year-old female on the forehead,” per the statement.
Police said the injured woman, who was not identified and had an approximate half-inch cut after being struck by the chair, refused to be treated at a hospital.
Miller was released at 4:05 a.m. that same night after conferring with the local prosecutor’s office. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
It is not the first time that Hawaii police arrested “The Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” actor—a movie in the “Harry Potter” spin-off franchise that was released in the United States last week and in which Miller portrays Credence Barebone or Aurelius Dumbledore.
Miller has been the source of police calls in Hilo 10 times since March 7, Hawaii Police Assistant Chief Kenneth Quiocho said, noting that it’s not clear how long the actor has been on the island, The Associated Press reported.
Most of the police calls were “manini” incidents—a Hawaii Pidgin term that can mean minor or small—such as filming people at a gas station, refusing to leave the sidewalk area of a restaurant, and arguing with people, Quiocho said.
That night, Miller was charged with disorderly conduct and harassment. He was released again from custody after paying $500 bail.
On March 29, the day after his first arrest, a Hawaiian couple also filed a temporary restraining order against Miller after accusing him of bursting into their bedroom and threatening them.
The couple’s order also accused Miller of stealing some of their belongings, including a passport and wallet. A judge dismissed the order on April 13 at the request of the couple.
