Q&A: What Will You Do With the Rest of Your Summer?

NEW YORK—With Labor Day drawing near and the back-to-school sales popping up everywhere, it’s a sure bet that the long days of summer will soon be turning to crisp fall evenings. For some it is a welcome change, for others a sad farewell. The Epoch Times asked: What are your plans for the rest of summer?

I’m a student from Russia, and our J-1 visa ends on the first of September, and then we have two weeks for vacation. I might spend some time going to Maryland to spend some time with our friends.

Fall is my favorite season, I can’t wait for fall to come. As for summer, I don’t have any specific plans for the rest of the summer. And the best thing about fall is that my birthday is in fall. And the best place for the fall is in Las Vegas. It’s cool at night.

Audrii Lohvinov, 22, pilot, Washington
I’m going for a trip. I have a friend who has a big airplane. We are going to fly in that airplane along the East Coast from Aug. 21 to Sept. 5, taking some pictures and having fun.

Leen Hebbel’Jnck, 36, Justice Department employee, Belgium
I came last Friday from Belgium to spend the week in New York, and we are leaving New York next Friday. Therefore, the trip to New York becomes our summer plan before fall starts.
