Here’s a list of stores’ hours for Black Friday and Thanksgiving day.

 

TARGET

Thanksgiving: Opens 6 p.m. and stays open all night to Black Friday.

KMART

Thanksgiving: Opens 7 p.m. and stays open all night to Black Friday.

WALMART

Thanksgiving: Deals start at 6 p.m.

 

JC PENNEY

Thanksgiving: Opens 3 p.m. and stays open all night into Black Friday.

KOHL'S

Thanksgiving: Opens 6 p.m. and stays open all night into Black Friday.

Meanwhile, President Barack Obama said there’s no know terror threat before Thanksgiving.

He said, “Right now we know of no specific and credible intelligence indicating a plot on the homeland.

“Americans should go about their usual Thanksgiving activities.”

“Our countries are going to step up that coordination even further, and do more of that work even further,” Obama said. “We’re stepping up the pressure on ISIL where it lives. And we will not let up.”

Walgreens will be open as usual on Thanksgiving Day and 24-hour locations will have the same hours. Non-24 hour Walgreens locations are open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. local times. 

CVS stores are also open Thanksgiving. The 24-hour locations will have the same hours as usual on the holiday.

Also, Rite Aid stores will be open starting at 8 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day for some locations, and they will open 7 a.m. Black Friday.

 

Meanwhile, banks like Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citibank, Chase, Amerasia Bank, and HSBC will be closed.

Public schools, libraries, the DMV, the post office, and most other bodies of the government are closed on Thanksgiving. The NASDAQ and the New York Stock Exchange are closed as well.
