Elizabeth Catherine Smith, 13, has gone missing from Alvin, TX, and is believed to have been taken by Jose Angel Ponce, prompting police to issue a statewide Amber Alert.
Ponce, 38, is believed to have taken Smith earlier today, Tuesday.
Law enforcement believe that Smith is in “grave or immediate danger,” according to the alert.
She is described as having brown hair, white skin, and brown eyes. She weighs 200 pounds and stands 5'5".
Ponce is Hispanic and has brown hair and brown eyes. He weighs 165 pounds and stand 5'7".
Ponce is driving a black, 2010 Chevy C 1500 with a licence plate from Texas, number AT22261.
