The president of Testwell Laboratories, Inc. was found guilty of fabricating false test results for concrete buildings in New York on Thursday. Testwell’s President V. Reddy Kancharla and Vice President Vincent Barone allegedly were involved in faking over 100 concrete and steel tests, according to an Associated Press report.

Testwell did the testing for the new Yankee’s Stadium, the Freedom Tower, the upcoming Second Avenue line, and a JetBlue terminal. Those four construction projects and 18 others were tested again by the city and were found to be safe. However, there are 60 other projects the city has yet to test. Prosecutors in the case say Testwell either altered or made up test results.
