Steve Harvey, the host of “Family Feud,” recalled the moment he encountered a man who said he had three months to live due to a terminal illness.

The man, he said, was “sweating profusely” during filming, and crew members were forced to change his shirt. “I was joking with him,” he said, adding that “there was something wrong with this man.”

“He had played three days and they didn’t win the money, and he was just a wreck,” Harvey said.

After three days, the man finally won $20,000 on the game show, but he burst into tears.

“He just fell on his knees, and he wouldn’t stop crying,”Harvey said. “They picked him up” and he recalled speaking to him. “Hey man, you’re pretty emotional about the $20,000,” he recalled telling him.

Harvey said that while people are typically happy to win, the man’s reaction was unusual.

The man told the game show host that “I’m terminally ill,” and “I got three months to live.”

The man said he had no insurance and needed the money for his family, Harvey explained.

“I gave him $25,000 more,” he said.

The man’s identity was never revealed.

Commenters on YouTube praised Harvey for his act of kindness.

“Steve Harvey you’re a beautiful human being. You gave that man and his family more than just money, you gave them HOPE to carry on, God bless you and your family,” said one woman.

Added another, “I pray the holy spirit will continue to guide you and that you remain humble. I pray the blessings of the creator continue to overflow in your life. Be blessed brother!!”

“What a great man Steve is. Hope the family is doing great despite having a terminally husband/father,” said another.

Added one: “You never know someone’s pain. Be kind to everyone. A smile will cost you nothing.”

‘Wheel of Fortune’ Guest Acts Strangely

A “Wheel of Fortune” guest is baffled man after her appearance on the show.

Nura Fountano, a military veteran, appeared on the show during Veteran’s Week for members of the military.

She lost the last round, even though she had the most money of the three contestants. Then she began to make odd letter choices, including “Z.”

“Say that again for me? Did you say ‘Z’?!” Host Pat Sajack asked her.

“As in Zulu. Z,” she said. She also chose “X”, and several times she didn’t even pick a letter before she lost the round.

It was clear that “Z” and “X” didn’t belong in the puzzle.

The cash was awarded to fellow contestant and veteran Steve, who had $6,400 by the end, compared to Fountano’s $13,970.

“May I ask you a question? You called some unusual letters that round,” Sajack told her. She told him that that was “what she saw.”

Some people speculated that Fountano intentionally chose bad letters to put Steve up to $6,400. Some believed that she was trying to help out a fellow veteran.
