HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—The Garden Pavilion at the Celebrity Centre International provided a festive atmosphere for the Annual Hollywood Toy Drive Fundraising Extravaganza on Dec. 8.

The star-studded event benefits underprivileged children and families during the holiday season and is sponsored by The Multicultural Motion Picture Association and the American Society of Young Musicians.

This is the tenth year the fundraising drive has been held, and every seat in the venue appeared to be filled. The Red Carpet was occupied for well over three hours as many of Hollywood's stars, musicians, and friends came to support and participate in the activity.

The Izzy Chait Quartet LIVE provided a continuous flow of great music and vocals for the audience throughout the evening. Izzy recently received from the American Society of Young Musicians, The ASYM 2010 Musicians Advocate Award.

The program host was Sam Phillips, and popular radio talk show host and comedian Charles Allen assisted. The sponsors also presented the Favorite New Breakout Band Award to The Dollyrots, who were unable to attend a prior award ceremony at the Oct. 27, 18th Annual American Society of Young Musicians Benefit Concert and Awards event.

A wide variety of entertainment took place with over a dozen performances, including: Heroine December, Manx, Corey Leland & The Insects Rock, comedian Charles Allen, Amber Barbell, Alexander Michael, Abbey Scott, Dallas, Guadalupae, 2 TRU, RAZ B, Papa Joe Aviance & Troupe Joe Joe, Wood Doctor & Roscoe (ventriloquist), Sammie Jay, and Lewis Hensley.

Sammie Jay, near the end of the program, finished her performance with a very powerful vocal rendition of O Holy Night. This performance added to an already great ending for the evening reminding all who attended that helping others is indeed noble.
