Leah Messer Calvert, one of the stars of Teen Mom 2, tweeted that she won’t take part in season 6 of the MTV show.
A Twitter follower asked her: “Are you doing season 6?”
And she responded with, “No.”
She also retweeted a message that a follower wrote to her, which reads: “I will miss you on TM2 but you know the right for your family. God bless u and the 3 amazing little girls you have. #AAAsisters.”
A few days ago, Messer also more cryptically tweeted: “Good morning ! Everyone keep me in your thoughts and prayers today! #Nervous #BigDecisions”
Some fans believed that she may have been referring to a rumored divorce from Jeremy Calvert, but it might have to do with her not appearing on season six.
There were suggestions and rumors that the show would end without Messer, but co-star Jenelle Evans said, “Don’t assume” that will happen. “Exactly. I hope my girls continue to move on with TM2. I wish them the best,” Messer also said.
According to RadarOnline, producers are looking to start filming the sixth season regardless of what happens.
“The producers know the show is a success, and it’s not going anywhere,” a source told the site.
In October, reports said that Calvert, a mother of three, would not be on the sixth season of the show.
Here’s what a post from reality TV website The Ashey said, “According to one of The Ashley’s sources, Leah’s tweets about her preserving her marriage are in vain. As late as last week, the source says that Jeremy was still done with the marriage. He has not, however filed for divorce in Putnam or Kanawha Counties, The Ashley has confirmed.”
