Leah Messer of “Teen Mom 2” apparently is trying to find out if her husband Jeremy Calvert has been unfaithful, according to a report this week. Meanwhile, on Tuesday afternoon, it was reported that she will be returning to “Teen Mom” for a sixth season after she said otherwise last month.
Reports last week claimed Calvert sent suspicious texts to 27-year-old single mom Brittany Musick. After that, Messer reached out to her.
“Leah direct messaged Brittany on Twitter to talk about the situation on Thursday night,” a source told RadarOnline.com.
Messer was “cordial” during the exchange and “she actually apologized for Jeremy’s behavior,” the source added.
On Twitter, Messer wrote that she’s still married to Calvert, saying “I am not with Robbie and I’m not pregnant. Jeremy and I are still married!”
Musick issued a response to fans of Messer, who were calling her a “homewrecker,” according to the Hollywood Gossip. “I’m not the homewrecker,” Musick wrote. “If anyone, Leah is. I just heard about their divorce and he confirmed it.”
Musick added: “So why not talk to him and chill. Why don’t you quit worrying about what I do and worry about your own life? K? Thanks.”
A report in The Ashley’s Reality Roundup on Tuesday claims Messer has signed on to season 6 of the show. “According to one source, Leah signed the Season 6 paperwork last week and will begin filming her segments soon! (The other girls– Chelsea Houska, Kail Lowry and Jenelle Evans–recently began filming again.),” the site says.
Another source with the show told the website that “she needs the money,” which is why she signed on for another season. “Although she recently started her own styling/photography business, Leah does have three children to care for and, with her marriage to Jeremy Calvert basically over, she needs to have a steady source of income,” the report notes.
A few weeks ago, there were unconfirmed reports that Messer had cheated on Calvert, and others said that he was looking to divorce her. They have one child together, while Messer has two other children from another relationship.
