NEW YORK - The Central Park Conservancy is hosting its annual Taste of Summer to start off the warm season in style. This Wednesday, June 2 over 1,000 guests will be treated to a dinner buffet of exquisite delicacies and a night of dancing under the stars in front of Central Park’s Naumburg Bandshell.

Tickets for the event, which start at $350 per person, and proceeds from a high-end silent auction, will go to the Central Park Conservancy, a private nonprofit organization, which supplies approximately 85 percent of Central Park’s yearly operating budget.

The event promises to be a great evening of fine dining and dancing with food prepared by some of New York’s top chefs. The conservancy, which was founded in 1980, takes as its mission to “restore, manage, and preserve Central Park.”
