A week of events celebrating Scottish-American heritage and culture culminates in the 12th annual Tartan Day Parade at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 9. This year’s Grand Marshal is Bob Winter, lord provost of Glasgow, Scotland. Expect pipers, drummers, members of Scottish organizations and cute wee Scottish and West Highland Terriers.
The parade starts at 2 p.m. at 45th Street and marches up Sixth Avenue, ending at 55th Street. For more information visit the parade website.
