A sinkhole opened up under a home in Tampa Bay, Florida, on Monday evening, a report said.
ABC Action News reported that the home on 2103 West Sligh Avenue belonged to a family.
The sinkhole apparently opened up at around 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
There were five adults and two children in the home, and they were evacuated, the station said.
The Red Cross is on the scene and responding.
It is unclear if there were any injuries.
Police told Tampabay.com that residents in the home were warned by an insurance company that they lived in a sinkhole pocket but no action was taken.
The website said the floor of the home shifted due to the sinkhole. Police surrounded the two-story home with yellow tape.
