TAICHUNG, Taiwan—Mr. Kao is a Taiwanese businessman who owns a plastics factory in southern China. On March 29, Mr. Kao and his wife invited friends Mr. and Mrs. Chen to watch Shen Yun Performing Arts New York Company perform at the Jhungshan Auditorium in Taichung. Mr. Chen works for the National Police Agency.

After the performance, Mr. Kao was amazed by the exquisite performance and said, “I have been watching Shen Yun for many years. I come back to Taiwan every year just to see the show. It’s such a great inspiration for me!”

Mr. Chen believes the traditional Chinese culture displayed in the performance has deep meaning, and words cannot express the wonderfulness of such cultural elements. “In all my life, I have never seen such a meaningful performance,” he said.

After learning that some of the dances in Shen Yun’s performance were dances that were only performed in palaces in ancient China, and only a person as fortunate as an emperor was able to see such dances, Mrs. Chen immediately agreed that she felt that way too.

Mr. Kao also agreed, “I have never seen such luxurious and splendid scenes. They are amazing and moving at the same time. I feel very comfortable afterwards. The performance is different from any other show, and the heavenly world created is so enchanting.”

Mrs. Chen concluded by saying, “The performance makes me feel the power of peace. Every scene, every frame, the artists present the energy of peace and auspiciousness. Their performance calms me down, as if I were in the wonderland they created.”
