Most restaurants are open New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Some restaurant and store hours vary from location to location

Taco Bell is open on New Year’s Day and Eve. 

7-Eleven is open 24/7—and it will remain open.

McDonald’s is open on New Year’s Eve and Day, with different hours. Check before going.

Burger King is open.

Circle K – Stores will be open on New Year’s Eve, Day—with most operating with regular hours.

QuikTrip – Stores will be open New Year’s Eve, Day, with most operating with regular hours.

Buca di Beppo is open New Year’s Day.

Chart House is open on New Year’s Day.

IHOP is open on New Year’s Day.

Papa John’s is open on New Year’s Day.

Waffle House is open on New Year’s Day.

 

And while it’s obvious banks are closed—Monday is what one has to worry about. Monday, Jan. 2 is considered a federal holiday—meaning that most, if not all, banks are closed for the day.

The post office, DMV, schools, libraries, and most government offices are closed.

Mail delivery won’t come on New Year’s Day.

The post office is also closed.

UPS also does not deliver on New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day. Mail delivery is halted on New Year’s Day as well.
