Sylvia Browne is dead at age 77, her son says.
Browne was a controversial psychic who appeared on a range of television shows and other programs over the years.
She most recently was criticized for saying missing girl Amanda Berry had died, but Berry was found locked up in Ariel Castro’s home in Cleveland earlier this year.
A message posted on Browne’s news told of the death:
“”Sylvia graduated today. She was surrounded by family and friends. What a legacy. She shared so much. We will carry on her knowledge with hypnosis and Journey of the Soul and her many books. What a great party they must be having on the Other Side. Bless everyone.”
