A girl who looks like singer Taylor Swift was beaten up by bullies and claimed she suffered a broken jaw.

Xenna Kristian, an 18-year-old from Britain, got bruises during the attack, according to the Daily Mail. She claims she was attacked after others noticed she bore a resemblance to Swift.

“Some girls at college had started making nasty comments, but it escalated really quickly,” she told the Mail. She described the attack as one motivated by jealousy.

Kristian, who says she started performing as a Swift lookalike, alleges she was pulled out of her chair and kicked in the face.

“The girl came up behind me and dragged me off my chair by my pony tail, then started kicking me in the face,” Kristian said. “Since I started being a lookalike people have been saying stuff. They must be jealous that I’m going off to do something with my life,” she continued.

Kristian had told the Shrophshire Star that after Swift recently dumped her boyfriend Harry Styles, of the band One Direction, she got nasty comments because some people thought she was the singer.

“One day I was shopping in Liverpool and somebody walked past and suddenly stopped and said ‘oh my God’. They actually thought I was Taylor Swift,” she told the paper. “Most people are really nice but I do get young girls shouting at me ‘leave Harry alone.'”

She added: “It was the start of last year that somebody started mentioning that I looked like Taylor Swift and it gradually got more frequent.”
