Two planes, including one skydiving airplane, collided at the Bong Airport in Superior, Wisc., on Saturday, according to reports.

The planes collided mid-air  in Superior, reported the Northland Newscenter.

Officials have said that at least one of the planes had skydivers.

A witness posted a comment on the Newscenter website.

“We were in the Superior Wal-Mart parking lot watcing [sic] a group of sky divers that had just exited the plane, the plane seemed to be having difficuly [sic] getting back to the airport when it started loosing altitude quickly near the fairgrounds,” writes Tim Mattson.

Another wrote: “This is what I heard when I was out walking tonight. You could hear the plane struggling big time then small pop sound and then silence. I was pretty sure right away I knew what I had heard. Hoping everyone is ok.”
